PLCS Students Named National Merit Semi-Finalists
 
Papillion La Vista Community Schools is pleased to announce that there is three students named National Merit Semi-Finalists for the 2016-1017 school year.  Raina Dodge, Papillion-La Vista High School, Gabrielle Lamberty, Papillion-La Vista South High School and Tyler Paul, Papillion-La Vista South High School.  Out of the over one million students who take the PSAT, 50,000 from across the country are chosen to qualify for the National Merit Finalists.  Of those students, 16,000 are selected as semi-finalists.  The semi-finalists are now in the process of completing a National Merit Finalist application which includes a personal essay, letter of recommendation, coursework information and SAT exam scores.   After all applications are received, the finalist lists will be released in the spring.
