Two PLC Schools Students Named National Merit Semi-Finalists

            The Papillion La Vista Community Schools is pleased to announced that there are two students named National Merit Semi-Finalists for the 2015-2016 school year.  Adam Dejka, Papillion-La Vista South High School and Anna House, Papillion-La Vista High School are two of this year’s semi-finalists.  Out of the over one million students who take the PSAT, 50,000 from across the country are chosen to qualify for the National Merit Finalists.  Of those students, 16,000 are selected as semi-finalists.  The semi-finalists are now in the process of completing a National Merit Finalist application which includes a personal essay, letter of recommendation, coursework information and SAT exam scores.   After all applications are received, the finalist lists will be released in the spring.
