In conjunction with Veterans Day week, La Vista West Elementary first graders hosted some special guests! Active service members visited La Vista West first grade classrooms to read books and talk about what it's like to be in the military. Students loved the story time, as well as the unique opportunity to try on special military gear like helmets and headphones. La Vista West is thankful for the time these volunteers donated to give a hands-on learning experience to these young students! #PLCSGreat
