Students at Trumble Park Elementary participated in a long standing tradition at the school on Thursday, December 19. The kindergarten through 2nd grade students dressed up in pajamas and filed into the cafeteria where they enjoyed a special reading of The Polar Express by their Principal Ami Nichols.
Then, Mrs. Nichols turned into “conductor” as she led students on a “ride” on the “Polar Express” during a parade throughout the entire school.
Students were each given bells to ring in the hallways, just like in the book. This special day helped students celebrate reading and enjoy the festive season.
