(Students wear pajamas to raise money for the Salvation Army)
Students at Trumble Park were extra comfy on December 3 for the day the student council declared as "Pajama Day".
But they weren't wearing pajamas just for fun, they wore them to raise funds and build awareness for The Salvation Army.
The students were encouraged to bring $1 to support the fundraising cause. Staff were able to donate $3 to wear jeans, workout wear, or PJ's.
Overall, the school was able to raise $430.45 to donate to the non-profit.
The student council will deliver the money to The Salvation Army on Wednesday, November 4 and also volunteer their time to ring bells for the Salvation Army.
The fundraising campaign was designed by the student council to kickstart their month of giving.
