Students in kindergarten through 6th Grade at Carriage Hill Elementary participated in a community service day on Friday, May 24.
The students and staff picked up litter around their school, neighborhoods, and Halleck Park.
“I think it’s really good because you should teach kids how to be nice to the environment at an early age so that they won’t litter," said Izzy Poast, who is in the 5th grade.
"And you need to save the animals and plants around here. Community service is really important because it helps a lot of people," Poast added.
As we enter summer, PLCS staff is encouraging students, staff, parents, and community to keep spreading the kindness!
