PLHS 2020 Homecoming Court Announced
While there isn't a homecoming dance this year due to COVID-19, the Monarch student body is still celebrating spirit week, as well as having a homecoming court.
Coronation is scheduled for Friday night, September 25th, after the football game.
The following students made the 2020 Homecoming Court:
Back Row (left to right):
Brady Dumont, son of Erin Payne and Chad Dumont. He is a member of the swim, football, and track teams. Brady has received the Academic Excellence Award. He is undecided on a university but plans to major in chemical engineering.
Ethan Neil, son of Stacy and Chris Neil. He is the two-time defending state champion in #1 singles. He was named first team All-State tennis for three years and honorary captain. Ethan participated in his high school career in NHS, FCA, PL Club, student ambassador, and earned Academic Excellence and Academic All-State honors. He plans to play tennis in college while majoring business.
Joey Hylok, son of Renee and Joe Hylok. He is a two-year letter winner in football and basketball. Joey participated in his high school career in Leadership Academy and Unified Sports. He is undecided on a university but plans to play basketball and major in exercise science.
Zach Malone, son of Greg and Lisa Malone. He is a two-year football letter winner. Zach also participated in basketball and track. Zach plans to attend a four-year college.
Cole Price, son of Cara and Jeff Price. He participates in football and wrestling. Cole is a wrestling state finalist and 2-time state placer. He plans to play college athletics and study business.
Luke Guzman, son of Joe Guzman and Tasha Guzman. He is a two-year letter winner and captain of the football team. Luke participated in his high school career in student council and club lacrosse. He plans to attend University of Texas at Austin majoring in aerospace engineering.
Jack Sotak, son of Mike and Leanne Sotak. He is a member of the baseball team. Jack participated in STEM program. He is undecided on a college but plans to major in Construction Management and play baseball.
Gabriel Cahill, son of Karen and (Late) Randall Cahill. He is a varsity letter winner in Cross Country and Track. Gabriel participated in his high school career in Monarch Powerlifting Club. He was also chosen for Boys State in Spring of 2020. Gabriel is undecided on a college but plans to major in Pre-Law with a minor in Political Science.
Ethan Foix, son of Jason and Teresa Foix. He participates in cross country and track. Ethan participated in his high school career in FCA and is the NHS treasurer. He plans to attend UNO and plans to major in engineering.

Norah Sis, daughter of Gavin and Tracie Sis. She is a four-year letter winner in volleyball and track. Norah participated in her high school career in student council, NHS, PL Club. Norah has received Academic Excellence Award and Academic All-State. Norah will attend Creighton University on a volleyball scholarship.
Jordyn Bahl, daughter of Dave and Emily Bahl. She is captain of the softball team. Jordyn has participated in her high school career in FCA, PL Club, Circle of Friends and mentors’ young athletes outside of school. She will attend the University of Oklahoma to play softball and major in nursing or education.
Ava Cunningham, daughter of Benji and Jill Cunningham. She has lettered in Volleyball and Track. Ava participated in her high school career in DECA, HOSA, Health Systems Academy, NHS, while volunteering at Nebraska Medicine. She is undecided on a college but plans to major in Pre-Medicine with a focus on Biology.
Amber Sadiq, daughter of Sam and Jonette Sadiq. Amber has received her CNA certification and is currently a part of the Health Systems Academy. She is undecided on a college but plans to major in nursing.
Allie Hinman, daughter of Connie and Rich Hinman. She is a four-year letter winner in soccer and three-year letter winner in volleyball. Allie participated in her high school career in Health Systems Academy, NHS and has been awarded the Academic All-State. She is undecided on a college but plans to major in nursing.
Erin Dickinson, daughter of Sarah and Jeff Dickinson. She had lettered in track, band, choir and debate. Erin is the vice-president of NHS. She wants to attend the Colorado College or Wellesley College and major in political science and international studies.
Lily Cunningham, daughter of Benji and Jill Cunningham. She is a two-year captain and a four-year letter winner on the swim team. Lily participated in her high school career in DECA and Circle of Friends. She plans to attend a four-year university to swim and study general health sciences.
Morgan Hickey, daughter of Brian and Michelle Hickey. She is a three-year letter winner in volleyball. Morgan participated in her high school career in track, soccer, NHS, PL Club, Circle of Friends and was awarded the Academic Excellence Award. She plans to attend a four-year college.
Brenna Armstrong, daughter of Brian and Kari Armstrong. She is captain of the dance team. Brenna participated in her high school career in DECA, Junior Class Board, District Bond Squad, Circle of Friends, and National Honor Society. She is undecided on a college but plans to major in marketing.
