La Vista West Elementary School staff were treated to ice cream by their Principal Cory Holl.

Holl explained he and Title I Asst. Administrator Seth Hiveley invited the ice cream truck to kick off the school year in a positive way. 

"With a strange start to the school year, they [the staff] has been extremely positive and resilient," Holl said. 

The staff appreciated the cold treat!
