PLSHS 2020 Homecoming Court Announced
While there isn't a homecoming dance this year due to COVID-19, the Titan student body is still celebrating spirit week, as well as having a homecoming court.
Coronation is scheduled for Friday night, September 11th, after the football game.
The following students made the 2020 Homecoming Court:
Back Row (left to right):
Ben Erickson is the son of Kim and Steve Erickson. He is on the varsity lacrosse team and was previously involved in Showchoir. He likes to draw and make music. Ben plans to attend any college that offers industrial design and wants to become some sort of designer in the future.
Shannon Young is the son of Robert Young and Christina Kopesky-Young. Shannon plays for the Papillion South Titans football team and has for four years. He is currently undecided on his plans after high school and is still looking at colleges and majors.
Trenton Brehm is the son of Jon and Sonya Brehm. He is a captain of the football team, plays on the basketball team and also plays on the baseball team. He was also previously involved in DECA. Trenton plans to attend a four year college and continue either his football or baseball career.
Peyton Hylok is the son of Dan and Megan Hylok. He is involved in soccer, cross country, and the Media Academy. He was previously involved in Leadership Academy and varsity show choir. Peyton plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln majoring in Sports Broadcasting and Communication.
Graham Cassoutt is the son of Derek and Jackie Cassoutt. He was the captain of the basketball team, and a member of the National Honor Society. He was previously involved with the Leadership Academy and FCA. Graham is still undecided on where he will be attending school but is planning on majoring in mechanical engineering.
Chance Hergott is the youngest son of Kay and Steven Hergott. This year he was elected Senior Class Vice President as well as being involved in National Honor Society, DECA, High school and Club Soccer. He also served last year as the Dance Captain of Titanium. Next year, Chance plans to pursue a degree in business as well as playing university soccer.
Luke Schmiesing is the son of Patrick and Kim Schmiesing. He is Student Council President, HOSA President, and Senior Class President. He is a Volunteer Coordinator for the National Honors Society and founder of the KIC Club. Luke is involved in Circle of Friends, Team Unified, Math Club, Spanish Club, and Key Club. He was previously a part of the Leadership and Health Academies. This year, he is in the Education Academy and plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a major in Education and minor in Writing.
Jacob Leuck is the son of Paul and Brenda Leuck. He is an officer in both the National Honor Society and Student Council. He is involved in varsity show choir, theatre, math club, spanish club, and key club and is an executive officer of Papillion special musicians. He plans to attend the University of Nebraska Lincoln to major in architecture.

Delany Fredrick is the daughter of Doug and Stephanie Fredrick. She is a three-year Titanium show choir member, involved in student council, leader of a girls bible study, and previously involved in leadership academy. Delany plans to attend Kanakuk Link-Year then go on to a four year college to major in camp management.
Kaylie Crews is the daughter of Dennis and Kathy Crews. She is a co-captain of the cross country team, runs varsity track, is involved in FCA, National Honor Society, and Titan Ambassadors. She was also previously involved with Leadership Academy and Varsity Band. Kaylie plans to attend a 4 year college to continue her athletic career and graduate as a History Major.
Grace Charlesworth is the daughter of Mike and Danae Charlesworth. She is a co-captain of the cross country team, runs varsity track, is a member of the powerlifting team, Global Support Club, National Honor Society, and Gardening Club. Grace plans to attend a 4-year college to continue her athletic career and major in Biology.
Daisy Sudderth is the daughter of Almeda and Toby Lopez. She is a Senior Captain for Play Pro, a member of Titanium, and Founder of the non-profit Girls Changing The World. She is currently Miss Omaha Teen USA and is involved in Student Council, Drama Club, Titans Inclusive, PACE, and Papillion Mayor's Youth Council. Daisy hopes to attend Howard University in Washington D.C to study Broadcast Journalism and Musical Theatre.
Gracie Battreall is the daughter of Jolene and Todd Battreall. She is a member of the cheer team as well as K.I.C club, key club and Spanish club. She plans on attending the University of Nebraska Omaha to study philanthropy and business.
Madalyn Backes is the daughter of Chad and Sarah Backes. She is a runner on the Papio South Cross Country and Track teams, a member of the Leo Club, and previously a part of the Leadership Academy. Madalyn would like to attend James Madison University in Virginia as a Political Science major.
Tayler Pierson is the daughter of Tamika and Warzell. She is the captain of her cheer team and a member of DECA. She was previously involved in Student Council, the Law Academy, and a Junior class officer. Tayler plans to attend the University of San Marcus Texas where she will major in social work.
Sophie Wray is the daughter of Stephanie Dushan. She is the president of Deca and was the vice president of marketing her junior year. This year she is the Recreation chair of Student Council and was the recognition chair her junior year .She is also involved in KIC club . She was previously a part of Leadership academy and volleyball. Sophie plans to attend San Diego State University with a major in business.
