La Vista PD Detective Amanda Eby took time out of her day to read to the 3rd graders at Rumsey Station Elementary as part of Read Across America week.

She was one of several law enforcement officers who took time to read to students at the school.

The guest readers were chosen to  keep with the theme of the All Classrooms, One Book “Mysteries According to Humphrey”.

The book is about a mouse who likes to investigate mysteries!
