Prairie Queen students & staff plant “Kindness Rock Garden” in front of the school to celebrate #BeKind

Over 575 “Kindness Rocks”, painted with pictures and words of kindness, were planted by every student in a Kindness Rock Garden in front of Prairie Queen Elementary. Immediately after all of the Kindness Rocks were planted on Wed., Nov. 7, all of the students and staff gathered for an all-school picture to proudly display the school-wide effort to celebrate the #BeKind initiative. Earlier this year, all Prairie Queen students and staff painted rocks with personalized messages. The rock painting took place during “Squad Time” which divides the entire student body into teams of 10 to 12 students, ranging from K-6th grade and gives older students an opportunity to mentor younger students.
