Fifth grade students across the Papillion La Vista Community Schools received their very own copy the U.S. Constitution and Bylaws. The gift courtesy of the Papillion Area Lions Club. In addition to receiving the materials, representatives from the Lions Club visited several schools throughout the District to talk about the constitution, how a bill becomes a law and the three branches of government. This ties in with the curriculum and what students are currently studying in the classroom. Students heard from Superintendent Dr. Andrew Rikli, City of Papillion, City Attorney Karla Rupiper and former PLCS Superintendent Rick Black.
