Cardigan Day celebrated as part of World Kindness Day at PLCS
Staff and students at several schools in PLCS could be seen wearing cardigans on World Kindness Day on November 13.
The cardigans are being worn across the United States to channel the spirit of Fred Rogers. Rogers was the creator and star of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, a show that was on air from the late 1960s through 2001. His message often was based on spreading love and kindness to others.
Carriage Hill Elementary, G. Stanley Hall Elementary, and Hickory Hill Elementary, among others participated in Cardigan Day.
