On August 8, Papillion La Vista Community Schools welcomed all staff back for the 22-23 school year at the annual kickoff and celebration at Werner Park! Staff enjoyed vendor tables from event sponsors, breakfast, and a program led by the Bond Squad, featuring comments by Dr. Rikli, School Board President Brian Lodes, and keynotes from PLSHS Senior Addison Quesenberry and Hickory Hill 6th grader Haley Curry. The annual welcome-back event is a fun way for all staff to gather together and reset for the beginning of the school year.

The event also featured the launch of the new 22-23 school year theme: Rooted in Academics. Grown to Greatness.
