Titans Celebrate Homecoming Week with Parade, Pep Rally and a 25-7 Victory, 9/19/2026

Papillion La Vista South High School wrapped up a spirited homecoming week last week, with a full slate of celebrations that brought students, families and the broader community together. From the parade and pep rally to the Friday night football game, the week offered Titans of all ages plenty of reasons to show their school pride.
One of the most beloved traditions of PLSHS homecoming is the parade, which extends an invitation to all of the high school's feeder elementary schools to take part. The inclusion of younger students gives future Titans an early taste of high school spirit and helps strengthen the connection between South and the neighborhoods it serves. Members of the homecoming court dressed up for the occasion and tossed candy to the crowd lining the route, delighting spectators young and old.

The pep rally built momentum ahead of the main event, as students gathered to cheer on their classmates and celebrate the week's festivities. That energy carried into the homecoming game against Lincoln Northeast, where the Titans delivered a 25-7 win in front of the home crowd.
Homecoming is about more than a single game. It is a chance for students, alumni, families and community members to come together around shared traditions. By welcoming elementary students into the celebration, PLSHS continues to build a sense of belonging that begins long before students walk through its doors as freshmen.
