Papillion La Vista South High School Titans Send Off Summer School With High Energy, 6/26/2026
Jackie Connealy

The Papillion La Vista South High School football team closed out summer school with an energetic final day, leading K-3rd grade students through a series of football-themed drills. The activities culminated in a student favorite: the tackle, a moment that brought excitement and big smiles from participants.

Throughout the session, the Titans cheered students on and kept spirits high, turning the last day of summer school into a memorable send-off. Having high school athletes lead the activity gave younger students a chance to interact with older role models while burning off some energy through active, hands-on play.

Enrichment activities like this one are designed to give summer school students a well-rounded experience that balances academic instruction with physical activity and community engagement. Closing out the program with a visit from student-athletes added an extra spark to the final day, leaving students with a fun and encouraging memory of their summer school experience.

The visit reflects the ongoing connection between PLCS high schools and its elementary programs, highlighting how older students continue to play an active role in supporting and inspiring their younger peers.
