Papillion La Vista Community Schools is thanking Hy-Vee in Shadow Lake for hosting a school supply drive that generated $2,322 worth of supplies to benefit students across the district. The drive relied on the generosity of the Papillion La Vista community, whose contributions ensured that students throughout PLCS will begin the school year equipped with the tools they need to succeed.

The supplies gathered through the drive covered an extensive range of classroom essentials, including backpacks, lunch boxes, coloring pencils, crayons, folders, notebooks, pens, and pencils, along with health and safety items such as Clorox wipes, tissues, and hand sanitizer. This combination of academic and wellness-focused items reflects a thoughtful approach to supporting the whole student as they head back into the classroom.
