G. Stanley Hall Elementary Rolls Out the Red Carpet to Celebrate Attendance, 9/30/2026

Students arriving at G. Stanley Hall Elementary recently received an extra special welcome to school. To celebrate regular attendance, staff greeted students with pom poms, signs, and cheers, and every student in attendance received a raffle ticket for a special giveaway. "We're so glad you're here today!" was the message of the morning.
The surprise celebration was designed to reinforce the importance of coming to school every day and to make sure students know, in no uncertain terms, that staff want to see them there. The energetic greeting turned an ordinary arrival into a memorable start to the day and helped build a sense of excitement and belonging across the building.

Regular attendance plays a powerful role in student success. Being at school each day gives students the opportunity to build on what they learned the day before, keeping their progress steady and connected. Consistent attendance also helps students build confidence, discover their strengths, and learn how to access support when they need it.
Celebrations like this one reflect a district-wide belief that every student matters and every day counts. By making school a place where students feel welcomed and valued, G. Stanley Hall staff are helping build habits that support learning well beyond the elementary years.
