Papillion La Vista Community Schools' Young Adult Transition Program welcomed its newest class of graduates this month, honoring the achievements of young adults who have worked diligently to build the skills, confidence, and independence that will carry them into the next stages of their lives. The graduation ceremony marked the completion of a comprehensive program designed to bridge the gap between secondary education and adult life.

The Young Adult Transition Program serves students through a combination of academic support, life skills development, and real-world application, equipping participants for success in employment, independent living, and continued learning. From kitchen and daily living skills to workplace readiness and community integration, YATP provides a holistic foundation for adult independence. Graduates leave the program having demonstrated growth across all of these areas.

PLCS remains deeply committed to providing transition programming that opens doors for every student. Congratulations to the YATP Class of 2026 — your hard work and determination are an inspiration to the entire district community.
