The Papillion La Vista South High School boys basketball team capped an outstanding season with a second-place finish at the Nebraska Class A State Championship on March 20, 2026. The Titans battled through the state tournament bracket with determination and skill, earning their place in the championship game and representing the district with pride on the state's biggest stage.

Throughout the season and into the postseason, the Titans demonstrated the grit, teamwork, and competitive spirit that has come to define the program. Their run to the championship game was a testament to the effort players invested on and off the court, and to the culture built within the program over many years.

The occasion also served as a moment of deep gratitude for the district and community. Head Coach Hueser, who has dedicated more than 20 years to leading the Titans boys basketball program, was recognized for his exceptional tenure. His decades of service represent a commitment to student-athletes, developing not only skilled players but young men of character. Congratulations to the Titans on a memorable season and to Coach Hueser on a legacy of excellence.
