The Papio PROUD club at Papillion La Vista High School welcomed students and community members to its fourth annual Multicultural Fair, continuing to grow in both scale and spirit each year. The after-school celebration filled the building with the sights, sounds, and flavors of cultures from around the world, creating an immersive experience that honored the diversity within the PLHS community.

This year's fair featured an array of activities including cultural food offerings, educational booths, henna art, a book fair, a fashion show, and live dance performances representing many countries and traditions. Student clubs from both Papillion La Vista High School and Papillion La Vista South High School participated, making the event a truly district-wide celebration of heritage and identity.

Papio PROUD — which stands for Promoting Respect, Opportunity, Understanding, and Diversity — was founded with the mission of fostering an inclusive school community where all students feel seen and valued. The Multicultural Fair is the club's signature event, and the care and effort students invest in planning and executing it each year speaks to how deeply they believe in that mission. Now in its fourth year, the fair has become a beloved tradition that strengthens community bonds and broadens perspectives for everyone who attends.
