Papillion La Vista Community Schools welcomed families to Central Office for the PLCS Fit Fest, a comprehensive health and wellness fair designed to connect community members with valuable resources and information. The event drew an impressive turnout, with families taking advantage of the opportunity to explore wellness-focused activities, gather information from local health vendors, and participate in giveaways.

The wellness fair featured participation from numerous local vendors who provided expertise, resources, and hands-on activities related to various aspects of physical and mental health. Families had the opportunity to learn about nutrition, fitness, mental wellness, and other health-related topics while enjoying interactive demonstrations and educational materials tailored to support healthy lifestyles for students and their families.

Community events like Fit Fest align with the district's holistic approach to student success, recognizing that academic achievement is deeply connected to physical and emotional well-being. By providing families with access to wellness resources and creating opportunities for health education, PLCS supports the development of healthy habits that benefit students both in and out of the classroom.

The strong family participation in this event demonstrates the community's investment in student wellness and appreciation for programming that extends beyond traditional academic offerings. Papillion La Vista Community Schools remains committed to supporting the whole child through initiatives that promote physical health, emotional resilience, and family engagement in wellness practices.
