Members of the You Go Girl club at La Vista Middle School concluded their successful year with a celebration and reflection session, writing thoughtful advice for incoming eighth-grade students who will join the program next year. The final meeting highlighted the growth and achievements students experienced through their participation in this empowerment initiative.

You Go Girl is designed to provide middle school students with educational opportunities that build essential life and leadership skills while offering hands-on technology experiences. Throughout the year, club members engaged in activities that boosted their confidence, developed their communication abilities, and prepared them for future academic and personal challenges.

The reflections written by current members serve as a bridge between grade levels, creating a supportive network of peer mentorship that extends the club's impact beyond formal meeting times. These personal insights and encouragement from experienced members help incoming students understand the value of the program and feel welcomed into the community.

The You Go Girl club exemplifies the district's dedication to providing diverse extracurricular opportunities that support student development, particularly in areas of leadership, technology literacy, and personal empowerment for young women.
