Leo Club

Members of the Papillion La Vista High School Leo Club demonstrated their commitment to community service this week through a meaningful after-school project. The student organization prepared 268 sandwiches for donation to the Open Door Mission, directly supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in the metro area.

The service project exemplifies the Leo Club's mission of developing student leadership skills while making a tangible difference in the community. Working together after school hours, club members organized and executed the food preparation project from start to finish, with the completed meals being delivered to the Open Door Mission for distribution.

Leo Club

The Leo Club stands as one of many leadership development opportunities available to PLHS students, providing hands-on experience in community service and project management. This initiative reflects both the club's dedication to addressing local needs and the larger district commitment to fostering student leadership and civic engagement.

Through activities like the sandwich project, PLHS students gain practical experience in organizing community service efforts while developing valuable leadership skills that will serve them well beyond their high school years.
