Last week, PLCS celebrated seniors from both Papillion La Vista High School and Papillion La Vista South High School who intend to pursue careers in education through a special Educator Signing Day event.

Similar to signing days for student-athletes, this ceremony honored students' commitment to the teaching profession. Participants signed letters of intent and were encouraged to return to Papillion La Vista Community Schools for their student teaching experiences and future employment opportunities.

The event highlights the district's proactive approach to teacher recruitment and its commitment to supporting students interested in education careers. By recognizing these future educators and creating clear pathways for their return to the district, PLCS is investing in both student success and the future of quality education within the community.
