Elementary Students Celebrate 100 Days of Learning, 1/29/2025
Christopher Villarre

Schools throughout Papillion La Vista Community Schools marked a significant milestone this week as students and staff celebrated the 100th day of the 2024-2025 school year. The occasion was commemorated with a variety of engaging educational activities designed to showcase students' growth and learning since the start of the year.

Elementary classrooms across the district transformed into centers of creative learning for the celebration. Students participated in special runway events, highlighting their creativity and enthusiasm for the milestone. Reading activities throughout the day reinforced literacy skills developed over the past 100 days.

Mathematics took center stage during the celebrations with counting activities and innovative "glow math" sessions. These activities provided students with hands-on opportunities to demonstrate their mathematical understanding while making learning engaging and fun.

The 100th day celebration serves as both a milestone marker and an educational opportunity, allowing teachers to incorporate important academic concepts into the festivities while recognizing students' progress throughout the school year.
