Preschool students at Parkview Heights Elementary experienced their construction curriculum come to life last week through a special presentation from Boyd Jones Construction representatives. The visit built upon the students' ongoing studies, where they had already explored construction tools and created their own blueprints.
During the presentation, Boyd Jones Construction professionals introduced students to various roles within the construction industry, from architects to steamfitters. Students learned about the different tools required for construction work through a hands-on demonstration, allowing them to safely handle and explore the equipment they had been studying in class.
The interactive presentation provided students with real-world connections to their classroom learning, reinforcing their understanding of construction concepts through direct experience with industry professionals.
