Class of 2025 Returns to Elementary Schools for Final Visit, 5/7/2025
Christopher Villarre

In a beloved PLCS tradition, members of the Class of 2025 recently returned to their elementary schools for a nostalgic final visit before graduation. The seniors walked the halls of their former schools, reconnecting with favorite teachers and reminiscing about their early educational experiences.

Many seniors recalled witnessing this same tradition as elementary students themselves, making the experience particularly meaningful as they now participated from the perspective of soon-to-be graduates. Students expressed surprise at how much smaller the facilities seemed compared to their memories, noting how surreal it felt to stand at their current height in spaces designed for much younger children.

Elementary students and staff lined the hallways to congratulate the seniors, creating a celebratory atmosphere that honored the graduates' educational journey. Former teachers shared stories and memories, often remarking on how quickly the time had passed since these seniors were in their classrooms. This heartwarming tradition creates a full-circle moment for PLCS students, allowing them to reflect on their growth and development throughout their K-12 education as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives.
