Carriage Hill Elementary celebrated recent student achievements with a unique and entertaining assembly where staff members became human hot dogs. The event, funded by the Carriage Hill PTO, rewarded students for their successful fundraising efforts and improved behavioral goals through the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (BIS) program.
During the spirited assembly, fifteen students earned the opportunity to transform three brave staff members into "hot dogs" by covering them with traditional condiments and toppings. Physical Education teacher Mr. Cogswell, Guidance Counselor Mr. Chaney, and third-grade teacher Ms. Tigani volunteered to be decorated with ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, and hot dog buns.
The creative celebration served as a memorable way to acknowledge students' dedication to improving school behavior and their commitment to fundraising goals. This type of engaging reward assembly exemplifies Carriage Hill's approach to making achievement recognition both meaningful and entertaining for students.
The event highlighted the strong partnership between Carriage Hill's PTO, staff, and students in creating positive incentives for school-wide success.
