PLCS recently held its annual Live Your Dash Unified Track & Field meet at the PLCS Foundation Field, bringing together students from across the district for a day of inclusive athletic competition. The Unified Sports program pairs students with and without disabilities on the same teams, creating opportunities for all students to participate in competitive sports while fostering inclusivity and building friendships. Participants competed in various track and field events, showcasing their athletic abilities while supporting one another throughout the competition.

The event highlighted the district's commitment to creating inclusive environments where all students can experience the benefits of athletic participation, teamwork, and healthy competition. Spectators, volunteers, and coaches created an atmosphere of encouragement and celebration for all participants regardless of ability level.

This successful event represents one of several Unified Sports initiatives within PLCS that promote understanding, respect, and friendship among diverse student populations while providing valuable life experiences for all involved
