PTN (Parent Teacher Network) helps provide many things for La Vista Middle School.  If we have an event where we will need volunteers, PTN parents help.  If there are supplies and funding needed for our students and classrooms, PTN steps in.

We have a PTN Board which consist of a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.  Each year in May there is an election for any position that needs to be filled.  We only have 2 grade levels at LVMS, so once a student moves up to the high school, we would need a new board member for that parent.

Events that PTN sponsors are:
*Check-In volunteers, creating our 'Helping Hands', and providing lunch for all volunteers and staff who are there.
*Collecting of Box Tops
*Providing meals for LVMS staff during our Conferences in the fall and in the spring
*Planning and running a Dance in February.
*Planning and running Concession stands at our Basketball Tournament.
*Providing Lunch and snacks during our Staff Appreciation Week.
