I am an academic counselor at Papillion La Vista High School. Before working at PLHS, I worked with at-risk youth who were on juvenile probation in the Omaha Metro Area. I have always been interested in helping students pursue their passions and helping them become the best versions of themselves. Along with helping students with their academics, I respond to student social/emotional needs and I am also a 504 case manager. Please feel free to call or email me with any questions or concerns!

    Grade QuestionsAcademic Support

Parents and students have many options in communicating with our faculty. Parents should follow the following steps when there are questions about their student’s grades.

    • Parents have been sent the information to access online grading. The link “Family Portal” can be found on the home page of this site. If you need your login information, please click on "forgot username" and / or "forgot password".

    • Parents can always call the teacher at 402-898-0409 or email. Every faculty member’s email is available on the school website. Go to plhs.plcschools.org and click on “Staff”.

    • If a parent still needs help, contact our academic counselors, Stacey Dunbar or Melissa Ryan, in the Counseling Center at 402-898-0409.

    Summer School/Night School

    • PLHS offers summer school for credit recovery.  In addition, PE can be taken for original credit in summer.  Summer school usually starts right after Memorial Day with attendance being mandatory for all 12 days.

    • Online Summer School registration will open sometime in April.  Email Stacey Dunbar in the counseling center with any questions at stacey.dunbar@plcschools.org.
