Media Academy incorporates a progressive series of courses culminating with a senior capstone year for students who enroll in the Academy all four years. Media Academy produces news packages, advertisements, graphic designs and animations, short-form video projects, run the video board at Foundation Field, and works with community and school groups to meet needs for special videography projects, all in addition to live-streaming over 30 events annually to their website, www.plv.media. Students are encouraged to enroll in the Academy for the full experience but those students who cannot fit it into their schedule are encouraged to participate as crew members for live events and by making connections with Academy students working on projects after school.
