Are you traveling outside of the country for spring break?
If you or anyone in your household is traveling outside of the country for spring break, we would encourage you to check if there are extra precautions you need to take. The travel advisory list is continually changing, so we are encouraging all PLCS families to self-report and check what precautionary steps need to be taken. Please take this extra precaution, to help keep all of our students, staff and families healthy and safe!
To self report:
Call the Sarpy/Cass County Health Department at 402-537-6970
New Travel Information Released – New Recommendations for Travelers
The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services released a new travel advisory on March 19. DHHS is recommending that all travelers, domestic or international self-quarantine for 14 days if possible or contact the health department. With this new recommendation, we are asking families that traveled over spring break to not enter the schools next week unless you have been told by the health department that you do not have to quarantine. If you have items you need picked up, please have a friend or neighbor do that for you. For a complete list of the new DHHS guidelines click here.
