    New for 2018-19 school year Papillion La Vista Community Schools is offering ACT Prep Course! Tailored to meet the individual needs of each student, students can choose to attend all four sessions or only one.  Research shows that preparation is a key to test taking. Students taking a test preparation course are better prepared for the ACT than those who have done no preparation.  This new PLCS ACT Prep Course is taught by PLCS teachers with expertise in each of the subject areas.

    How many sessions are available?
    There are a total of four different sessions available including: Reading, English, Math and Science.

    What does each session include?   
    Each session will include:

    • 1 hour of content review
    • 30-45 minutes of test prep tips
    • A practice ACT (an actual retired test)
    • Review of results on practice test

    When & where are the sessions held?
    Fall Sessions are held August 11, 18, & 25 and September 1
    Spring Sessions are held March 9, 16, 23 and 30

    All prep sessions are on Saturdays from 8-11:00 am at both PLHS and PLSHS.  Students can attend sessions at either school based on their individual needs.

    How much does this cost?
    Each session is $37 or $148 for all four sessions.  Payment should be made in the high school guidance department by no later than the Friday prior to the session date.

    How do I register?

    Who should register?
    The course is open to anyone planning to take the ACT. Highly recommended for Juniors taking the ACT for the first time and seniors wanting to improve their scores.
