$3,000 Student Teaching Incentive

Paid each semester for clinical practice student teachers in four monthly installments, a meaningful investment in your future career.

Step 2 Salary Placement if Hired

Student teachers who are hired by PLCS are placed on Step 2 of the salary schedule, honoring their experience here and earning nearly $1,600 more per year than a first-year hire.

Guaranteed Interview & Mock Interview Coaching

All PLCS student teachers receive a guaranteed interview for a teaching position. During your student teaching, you will also participate in a mock interview with HR and building principals to help you prepare.

Substitute & Coaching Opportunities

While student teaching at PLCS, you may also have opportunities to substitute teach and take on coaching roles, building your experience and your connection to our schools.
