  • 2" Scholastic Stickers | 2" Attendance Check Marks Sticker

If your student will be absent, we kindly ask that a parent or guardian call the school at (402) 898-0436 before 8:30 am to report the absence OR  email the attendance desk at lvmsattendance@plcschools.org. Phones are answered beginning at 7:00 am. A voicemail message can be left before and after school hours, and when the office staff are unable to answer the phone.

**To report an absence, late arrival, or early release please provide the following information:

    Your first and last name

    Student's first and last name

    Grade level

    Date of occurrence

Reason for absence, late arrival, or early release

    Time of release (if applicable)

    Appointments & Passes

Parents or guardians should try to avoid taking students out of school for appointments if possible. If you need to pick up your child during the school day, you will need to call or email at least 30 minutes prior to them leaving. Your child will be sent a pass allowing them five additional minutes to go to their locker and then come to the front office at the specified time. The student is responsible for their pass and getting to the office on time. Parents will remain in their cars when picking up and dropping off students. Students will be released once they see their ride in front of the school. Upon returning to school, students will check back in through the front office where they will be given a pass back to class. Please provide a doctor’s note if possible.

    *COMING BACK FROM APPOINTMENTS*

If your student is coming back from an appointment, they need to have drinks such as smoothies, soda, Starbucks, etc. finished before re-entering the building. Thank you for understanding.

    Visitors to the Building

Visitors will be greeted through the intercom/doorbell system with screening questions. Our secretaries are required to ask these questions. Please make sure when you are dropping items off, you have your student's name on it. Having items, especially personal items in bags would be appreciated.

    Building Hours & Supervision

School hours are 8:00am-3:10pm. However, on Wednesdays, LVMS will start at 8:20am. The late start will have no impact on parents’ schedules. Students can still enter the building at their normal time, however students will remain in their designated team location. If your family chooses to take advantage of the late start on Wednesdays, students will not be considered absent/tardy until 8:20am.

We encourage students to arrive no earlier than 7:30am, as that is the time student supervision begins at LVMS. Students not involved in after school activities need to be off school grounds by 3:30pm, as there is no supervision after that time.

Looking for Donations of Pop, Candy, Chips & Kleenex

Through our PBIS program, our students can earn rewards based on their positive behaviors at school. We are asking for donations of pop, candy, or chips to use as rewards for our students. If you are interested in donating, you can send your donation in with your student to deliver to the front office. Thank you in advance for helping us continue rewarding our students!

Noses are running! Any Kleenex donation would be appreciated!
