  • Don’t leave your loved ones at home this year during the 2017 NFUSSD Conference! Registered attendees can bring their spouse to explore the sights of Omaha and surrounding area. It’s a fun way for both you and your spouse to experience and see all that the Omaha metropolitan area offers. With stops along the way at famous local attractions to historical sightseeing, the spouse tour will enhance your stay and experience here in Omaha while attending the 2017 NFUSSD Conference.

On Monday as the conference participants head out for the school tours, spouses can chose one of two options of their own.  For the shoppers of the group they will be driven to Nebraska Crossing, an outlet mall, where they can enjoy a morning full of shopping, then eat lunch prior to the return.  If you are more of a historic type you can visit the Strategic Air Command & Areospace Museum.  At the world-class aerospace museum visitors of all ages and backgrounds can experience 70-years of history featuring aircrafts that range from propeller aircraft of pre-World War II through the supersonic jet aircraft of the Cold War to the cutting edge technology of manned space exploration. For more information visit the museum website at  http://sacmuseum.org/visit/  After the museum, participants will return to the outlet mall for lunch prior to the journey back to Omaha.  Once the spouse tour returns to Omaha, spouses will have the option to join their other half at the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo for some free time to explore or they can return to the hotel first and then go to the zoo for the evening social beginning at 5:00.
