• Who should attend the Associate to Bachelors Academy? DECA Students in class

Do you see yourself going on to a 4-year college after high school graduation? Would you like to get a jump start on that degree while still in high school? Do you like the idea of paying $40 PER COURSE for college tuition? Then the Associate to Bachelors Academy (A2B) is for you!

What is the Associate to Bachelors Academy?
The Associate to Bachelors Academy puts 11th and 12th grade students on a college-bound program-of-study that allows them to complete an associate degree by the summer after graduation. The associate degree transfers toward a bachelor’s degree at schools like UNMC, UNO, UNL and Iowa State.

    What is a typical day?
A2B courses are taught by PLC Schools' teachers who are also adjunct instructors through Metropolitan Community College. A2B students attend the same classroom as non-A2B students; except that A2B students complete “above-and-beyond” college-level learning activities. Students gain high school credit toward graduation as well as college credit in preparation for the next phase in life after high school.

NOTE: To complete the Associate Degree in time for high school graduation summer, night, and online courses may be necessary.
