Building Hours and Supervision
School hours: 8:00am - 3:10pm
Late Start Wednesdays - On Wednesdays, school will start at 8:20am. The late start will have no impact on parent’s schedules. Students can still enter the building at their normal time.
We encourage students to arrive no earlier than 7:30am, as that is the time student supervision begins. Students not involved in after school activities need to be off school grounds by 3:30pm, as there is no supervision after that time.

PMS Spirit Wear
Titan Wear is for Sale! Stop by the front office (or have your student stop by) if you’d like to purchase some!

Student Deliveries
We are trying to minimize items brought to school during the school day. We are asking that only essential items be delivered and placed at the DROP ZONE (main entrance foyer/north door). Please be sure the student’s name is on the item.
We will check periodically and get essential items to the students as time permits. If your student is aware that you are bringing an item, please have them come to the front office to pick it up.

Visitor Information
For the security and safety of staff and students, all the doors at PMS are locked during the school day. All visitors must come to the North doors and be greeted through the doorbell system. This allows us to monitor who is entering the building.
When you have been allowed entry into the building, please do not hold the door open for other visitors.
ALL visitors must utilize the doorbell system. Visitors should not enter the building when someone is entering or exiting. You must be greeted through the doorbell system.
Thank you for your help in keeping our students and staff safe!

Dropping Off and Picking Up Students
When students enter the building each day, they will be directed to the north gym until the school day begins. All students must enter through the North entrance.
Students can be dropped off at Central Office and use the overpass. Students can leave from any exterior door after school.
Please use Grant Street for pick up, only busses will be allowed to use the parking lot in front of the school.

Titan Pride Awards
This year, students will earn tickets for positive behavior. Twice a month, students can use their tickets to shop for a variety of snacks and drinks at the end of the school day. What a fun way to celebrate and recognize the positive behaviors students are displaying.
Thank you to those of you who have generously donated items. The PRIDE store would not be possible without your support!
If you would like to donate items, we will gladly accept them and would be greatly appreciative. Items may be brought to the front office. Ideas for donations include: candy, chips, gum, and drinks (Gatorade, water, sparkling Ice drinks). Thanks, again, for supporting positive behavior at PMS!

Student Illness
If your student texts you that they are not feeling well, please advise them to let their teacher know and they will send them to the Health Office. The Health Office will contact you if necessary. It is very important that all students go through the nurse’s office if they are not feeling well.
We are asking for your help so that we can keep track of students' symptoms and take the necessary precautions. We need our students, staff, and families working together to help keep everyone safe.

Attendance Reminders
If your student will be absent or arriving late, a parent or guardian needs to contact the school @ 402-898-0424 to report the absence. You may also e-mail Tiffiny Rohn @ tiffiny.rohn@plcschools.org. Please notify the school prior to 8:30am. A message may be left if the line is busy or after regular school hours. A student will be considered “unexcused” if the absence is not confirmed.
If you need to pick up your student during the school day, please try to call the school at least 30 minutes before your student needs to leave. Your student may also bring a note to the front office before school starts. Parents will remain in their cars when picking up and dropping off students. Students will be released once they see their ride in front of the school.
If you know of an upcoming absence, you may call or email in advance; you do not need to wait until the day of the absence to notify the attendance office.

Online Payment Options
Papillion Middle School now has an online option for payments. No more writing checks, unless you choose to.
Buy your child’s activity ticket or any fee associated with a class online and eliminate the hassle of writing multiple checks. This online payment system is the same as the school lunch system. Payments can be made now prior to student check-in as well as throughout the year as needed.
Purchasing Items Online is as Easy As 1, 2, 3…
Sign in or Create an account:
Access the store via the “School Lunch/Fees” button in the District app, or click here.
If you previously created an account to pay for school lunches, you do not need to create a new account! Your current lunch account will get you into the school store.
To create an account, you will need to know your student’s ID. If you do not know your student’s ID, you can find it in the parent app (while logged in) or on the parent portal.
Select “Store”
On a mobile device click the three lines in upper left corner
On a computer the “store” option is on the left hand side.
Select the items you want to purchase and pay. Be sure to select items for your child’s school.
Use the “Search” function to quickly find items relevant to your school.
To search, enter the initials of your child’s school
PMS = Papillon Middle School
Note: On some mobile devices the “search” function is hidden behind the “filter” button. Just pull down below the filter button and you will see the search function. We are currently working with the company to get the error fixed.
