  • PTN Membership Drive

The PTN has begun the 2021-2022 membership campaign!! Our goals are to maintain a strong and supportive PTN, and to promote parent involvement in the school, home, and community.

PTN funds are raised from membership dues, after school events, and Cook's Night Out.  The money raised from these events is used to provide the teachers with items not budgeted, college scholarships to former PMS students, special projects, and staff appreciation.  Due to last year’s COVID protocols the PTN was not able to sponsor school events or have Cook’s Night Out.  Because of this, minimal funds were raised.

The PTN not only relies on after school events and Cook’s Night Out to generate funds to support the school, staff, and students, we also rely on the support of our families by joining the PTN.  Without this support, the PTN is at risk of  not being able to continue assisting with these needs.

Please consider joining the PTN. The membership form is attached.  Forms and money should be returned to PMS. Forms are also available in the PMS Front Office.  Thank you for your support!

  • Titan Pride Awards

Once a month on PRIDE Fridays, students who have earned PRIDE tickets get to shop for school supplies, gum, gift cards, Titan wear and more from our PRIDE store.  What a fun way to celebrate and recognize the positive behaviors students are displaying.

If you would like to donate items, we will gladly accept them and would be greatly appreciative. Ideas for donations include snacks (pop, candy, chips, etc.), gum, gift cards, supplies (pens, pencils, locker decor) and other small items that middle school kids love. Thanks for supporting positive behavior at PMS!

  • Student Illness

If your student texts you that they are not feeling well, please advise them to let their teacher know and they will send them to the Health Office. The Health Office will contact you if necessary. It is very important that all students go through the nurse’s office if they are not feeling well.

We are asking for your help so that we can keep track of students' symptoms and take the necessary precautions. We need our students, staff, and families working together to help keep everyone safe.

  • Building Hours and Supervision

    School hours: 8:00am - 3:10pm

Late Start Wednesdays - On Wednesdays, school will start at 8:20am. The late start will have no impact on parent’s schedules. Students can still enter the building at their normal time.

We encourage students to arrive no earlier than 7:30am, as that is the time student supervision begins.  Students not involved in after school activities need to be off school grounds by 3:30pm, as there is no supervision after that time.

  • Attendance Reminders

If your student will be absent or arriving late, a parent or guardian needs to contact the school @ 402-898-0424 to report the absence.  You may also e-mail Tiffiny Rohn @ tiffiny.rohn@plcschools.org.  Please notify the school prior to 8:30am.  A message may be left if the line is busy or after regular school hours. A student will be considered “unexcused” if the absence is not confirmed.

If you need to pick up your student during the school day, please try to call the school at least 30 minutes before your student needs to leave.  Your student may also bring a note to the front office before school starts.  Parents will remain in their cars when picking up and dropping off students. Students will be released once they see their ride in front of the school.

If you know of an upcoming absence, you may call or email in advance; you do not need to wait until the day of the absence to notify the attendance office.

  • Online Payment Options

Papillion Middle School now has an online option for payments.  No more writing checks, unless you choose to.

Buy your child’s activity ticket or any fee associated with a class online and eliminate the hassle of writing multiple checks. This online payment system is the same as the school lunch system. Payments can be made now prior to student check-in as well as throughout the year as needed.

Purchasing Items Online is as Easy As 1, 2, 3…

Sign in or Create an account:

Access the store via the “School Lunch/Fees” button in the District app, or click here.

If you previously created an account to pay for school lunches, you do not need to create a new account! Your current lunch account will get you into the school store.

To create an account, you will need to know your student’s ID. If you do not know your student’s ID, you can find it in the parent app (while logged in) or on the parent portal.

    Select “Store”

On a mobile device click the three lines in upper left corner

On a computer the “store” option is on the left hand side.

Select the items you want to purchase and pay. Be sure to select items for your child’s school.

Use the “Search” function to quickly find items relevant to your school.

To search, enter the initials of your child’s school

    PMS = Papillon Middle School

Note: On some mobile devices the “search” function is hidden behind the “filter” button. Just pull down below the filter button and you will see the search function. We are currently working with the company to get the error fixed.
