  • Spring Dance

    The Spring Dance will be Fri., Mar. 29 from 6:00-8:00pm. $5 admission includes Dance and Beach volleyball. There will be drinks and food available for purchase.

  • Art Club Rescheduled Date

    Please stop by after school on any of the following dates to complete your screen printing. March 18th, 19th or 20th. This step will take less than 5 minutes and will be ready for pick up the next day. If you have any questions please let me know.

  • FCS 7 Interested in CPR Certification

    FCS 7 students that are interested in obtaining CPR certification need to pick up a form outside of Mrs. Carter’s room, 113. The CPR date is 4/22 (PD day), from 9-11am, in room 113. Cost is $40. Payment and form are due at the same time to Mrs. Carter, no later than Friday 3/29. This is open to all FCS 7 students. If not in FCS 7 and interested, please see Mrs. Carter directly or by email: ccarter@paplv.org

  • PAK Summer Police Academy For Kids

    This program is FREE to current 6th & 7th Graders in our district, and includes a T-shirt, Law Enforcement Demos, Team Games, and Field Trips, to the Movie Theater, Papio Bay, and Papio Bowl. Lunches are provided. Did I mention that all of this is FREE??

    For a registration form with the session dates offered, stop by the LMS Front Office or see Officer Tackett in the LMS Student Services Office. Sessions fill up fast, so pick up a registration form ASAP.

  • NSCAS Testing

    Students at Liberty Middle School will complete the Nebraska Student-Centered Assessment (NSCAS) testing between April 1 through April 26. The NSCAS is a new statewide assessment system that embodies Nebraska’s holistic view of students and helps them prepare for success in postsecondary education, career, and civic life. It uses multiple measures throughout the year to provide educators and decision makers at all levels with the insights they need to support student learning.

     

    Please look for specific testing dates and other information from each team as part of their weekly newsletter. Please contact the school if you have any questions.

  • Track Information

    Students wishing to participate, must have a Physical and Parent Permission/Health Risk Awareness form on file in the Student Services office and have paid the $50 Activity Fee before the 1st day of practice. Seventh grade students may use their 7th grade physical for sports participation. A separate sport’s physical for 7th graders is not necessary.

    Students cannot tryout or participate without them.  If your student has already tried out/played a school sport, they are good to go.

    Track practice begins March 18th.

    The Late bus will arrives at 5:15pm for students involved in after school activities that NORMALLY ride a bus.  It will only wait a minute or two as it has other stops to make.

    The 2018-2019 Liberty Middle School Yearbook is now available for purchase at Liberty Middle School in the Art Room or Media Center and online. If ordering your book at school please make checks out to Liberty Middle School.

    Pricing information:

    • $30 if ordered Before December 31st
    • $35 starting January 1st
    • $7 for a name stamp- Name stamps must be ordered by January 27th
    • $1.25 Service charge ONLINE ORDERS ONLY

  • Inclement Weather

    If inclement weather occurs, we will use the following procedures for calling off school:

     

    1. The decision to call off school will be made by the Administration Office prior to 6:00 a.m. when possible. Radio and TV stations will be notified. Closings will also be updated on District and schools web pages.
    2. Automatic phone calls to homes via Blackboard will begin at approximately 6:00 a.m.

    If Papillion La Vista Community Schools are not listed for closing/later starting time, school will be in session on schedule. DO NOT CALL SCHOOL OFFICES FOR CLOSING INFORMATION.
